Our Foundation Class is specially designed for dogs who are too old for puppy class, new rescue dogs, or any dog who is just starting out on their training journey. This supportive 6-week course focuses on building confidence, teaching essential life skills, and helping you and your dog develop a strong partnership.
Over the 6 weeks, we’ll cover:
Focus and engagement with you, even around distractions
Loose lead walking and polite greetings
Reliable recall
Confidence in new environments
Calmness and settling skills
Everyday manners for home and out and about
A few fun tricks to keep learning enjoyable
The next course begins on Saturday 4th April 2026 at 9-10am and runs for 6 weeks on the following dates:
4th April
11th April
18th April
25th April
2nd May
9th May
What you’ll need to bring:
A flat collar or harness and a standard lead (no extendable leads, please)
Plenty of soft, high-value training treats
A favourite toy for your dog
A blanket or mat for your dog to settle on
Poo bags and water for your dog
